Reports and sharing

Authenticated reports vs public share links, PDF export, and what is included in each view.

Last updated July 13, 2026

Parsivex generates a savings report after every successful scan. You can view it privately while signed in, share a read-only link with teammates, or download a PDF. What each view includes depends on authentication and your plan.

Sign-in requiredYesNo — anyone with the link can view

Authenticated report

Open any completed scan from your dashboard or scan history. The authenticated view is your working copy:

  • See all findings included in your plan
  • Dismiss or snooze findings that are intentional — see Finding lifecycle
  • Expand remediation scripts on paid plans (ready-to-run AWS CLI commands with safety warnings)
  • Download a PDF on paid plans
  • Copy a shareable link to send the public version to others

Click Enable & copy link on your report hero to turn on a public URL and copy it to your clipboard. Share it with finance, leadership, or external auditors who do not need a Parsivex account.

Public sharing is opt-in — reports are private until you explicitly enable a share link. You can revoke the link at any time from the authenticated report view.

Public reports show findings, severity, savings estimates, and plain-English descriptions. They are designed for visibility, not for taking action in AWS.

PDF export (paid)

Paid plans (Monitoring and Team) include PDF export.

  • Click Download PDF in the report header on the authenticated view
  • The PDF mirrors your authenticated report content for that scan
  • Free plans see an upgrade prompt instead of the download button

PDFs include findings, savings totals, and scan metadata. Remediation scripts are included when your plan includes them.

Dismiss and snooze: authenticated only

Finding lifecycle actions are only available on your signed-in report. Public viewers cannot dismiss, snooze, or reopen findings.

This keeps lifecycle decisions tied to your workspace account. A colleague viewing a share link sees the report as it was generated — they cannot change your dismiss/snooze state.
