How can we help?

Browse guides for connecting AWS, running scans, understanding findings, and getting the most from your Parsivex plan.

This is the documentation for Parsivex, an AWS cost optimizer that scans your account for waste and keeps scanning so it does not creep back. Everything the product does is covered here: connecting an AWS account with a read-only IAM role, running scans, reading findings, setting up alerts, fixing what a scan turns up, and managing plans and teammates.

If you are new, start with getting started for a plain-English overview and a walkthrough of your first scan, then AWS access for the IAM role setup that has to happen before any scan can run. If you already have a report open and want to know what a particular finding means or how its monthly savings figure was calculated, scans and findings is the section you want. If you have fixed something and want to make sure it stays fixed, alerts and monitoring covers recurring scans and cost anomaly detection.

Each category below opens with an overview and a list of its articles. Articles are written for the person doing the work rather than as marketing copy, so where something has a limit, a caveat, or a way to go wrong, we say so. Anything you can act on inside AWS — deleting a volume, resizing an instance, adding a lifecycle rule — you run yourself with your own credentials; Parsivex only ever reads. If you cannot find an answer here, the search box above covers every article, and support is one email away.
